Plain English. Standard terms.

The boundary between what's on this site and a formal engagement. Last updated May 12, 2026.

Operator: StackedCFO LLC - Boston, MA - casper@stackedcfo.com

1. Agreement to these terms

By using stackedcfo.com, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. These terms apply to all visitors, readers, and customers.

2. Nature of the site content

Everything on stackedcfo.com - articles, case studies, books, products, calculators, and other materials - is provided for general informational and educational purposes only.

Not advice Nothing on this site is legal, tax, accounting, investment, or financial advice for your specific situation. The site does not create a professional advisor-client relationship. Your circumstances are different from anyone else's. Always consult a qualified professional before making material decisions.

3. When an engagement begins

A professional engagement with StackedCFO LLC begins only when:

  • We've had a working session or discovery call
  • A signed engagement letter is in place describing the scope, deliverables, fees, and term
  • The initial payment specified in the engagement letter has been received

Submitting a quote, sending an email, booking a call, or completing the intake form does not create an engagement. Until a signed engagement letter exists, no fiduciary duty, confidentiality obligation beyond standard professional courtesy, or service commitment is created.
