What we collect. What we don't.

1. Scope of this policy

This policy applies to stackedcfo.com and any subdomains operated by StackedCFO LLC. It covers what we collect when you visit, fill out a form, request a quote, subscribe to the newsletter, or buy a product.

It does not cover third-party sites we link to (Amazon, cal.com, LinkedIn, etc.). Their privacy policies govern your activity there.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what you give us, plus standard server logs.

You give us:

• Name, email, company, role, phone (if you provide it) on the contact form
• Engagement details, revenue range, and selected services on the quote builder
• Email address only if you subscribe to the newsletter
• Billing details if you purchase a product (processed by our payment provider, not stored by us)

Collected automatically:

• IP address, browser type, device, referring URL, and timestamps - standard web-server access logs
• Cookies used by Google AdSense and Google Analytics (if enabled) - see Section 5

3. How we use it

Specifically and narrowly:

• To reply to your inquiry or fulfill your purchase
• To send the newsletter you subscribed to (one-click unsubscribe always present)
• To improve the site - which pages get visited, where visitors drop off
• To prevent fraud and abuse

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not use your information to target you with advertising on other sites beyond the standard AdSense cookies described in Section 5.

We rely on the following services. Each has its own privacy policy linked below.

If we add or change a provider, we'll update this list.

5. Cookies and ads

This site uses cookies for two purposes:

• Functional cookies - to remember things like newsletter dismissal or form progress
• Advertising cookies - via Google AdSense (publisher ID ca-pub-6455403299455732) to serve relevant ads. Google may set cookies that track your activity across the web for ad personalization.

You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time by visiting Google Ad Settings or by using your browser's "Do Not Track" preference.

6. How long we keep it

• Form submissions and email correspondence: indefinitely, unless you ask for deletion
• Server access logs: 90 days
• Newsletter subscriber data: until you unsubscribe, then deleted within 30 days
• Payment records: 7 years (US tax retention requirement)

7. Your rights

Regardless of where you live, you can ask us to:

• Show you what information we have about you
• Correct anything that's wrong
• Delete your information from our systems (except records we're legally required to retain)
• Stop processing your information for marketing
• Receive a portable copy of your data

If you're in the EU, UK, or California, you have additional rights under GDPR / UK GDPR / CCPA. Same email; we'll honor those rights without separate procedure.

8. Security

We use HTTPS site-wide, strong passwords on all admin systems, and two-factor authentication on all critical accounts (Namecheap, payment processor, email). We do not store credit card numbers - those are handled by Stripe / Gumroad. We are a sole-operator practice; only Casper Zhao has access to your information.

No system is perfectly secure. If we discover a breach affecting your data, we will notify you within 72 hours.

9. Children

This site is for business professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, email casper@stackedcfo.com and we'll delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site or services evolve. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. For material changes, we'll post a notice on the homepage for at least 30 days.
